The Corona CAD detector provides the ability to measure virtually any non- or semi-
volatile analyte: from protein, DNA and oligosaccharides, to amino acids, drugs, and even ions. Positive, negative or neutral, with or without a chromophore, all can be analyzed routinely with charged aerosol detection.

Challenging to detect

Detection and quantitation of counter
ions in pharmaceuticals often requires
specialized systems and multiple
modes of operation. With the Corona
CAD, counter ions (anions, cations and
even the API) can be measured simultaneously, on one system. This means no special system required for only
part of the analysis, resulting in greater
efficiency and more robust methods.
